We are looking for an outstanding Resourcer/Recruiter working with our client, an Australian-based company known as an expert in staffing solutions. They are Australia’s best temporary and permanent recruitment agency for over 50 years.

Your new role is to provide recruitment support to the branch by recruiting, assigning and managing candidates effectively.

Daily Responsibilities

  • Write and post generic advertisements
  • Manual and telephone screening of ad responses
  • Do virtual interviews
  • Interview, test and induct candidates to ensure the pool of quality available candidates is maintained
  • Contribute to the objectives, activity targets, schedules and specific call plans within the team
  • Facilitate the overflow of phone calls and messages and respond to them accordingly
  • Acknowledge resumes and unsuccessful candidates within a timely manner in accordance with the client’s procedures
  • Regularly update availability listing of candidates
  • Data entry of candidate details to ensure files are complete
  • Conduct reference checks on candidates to gain an understanding of their work history and background
  • Gain leads from reference checks and float candidates to clients
  • Introduce and implement any means of streamlining the recruitment process
  • Stay abreast of and communicate effectively current and changing market trends, competitor activity, paying /billing rates, and organisational changes
  • Provide general administrative support when required – this may include co-ordination of police checks, medicals, references, background checks, liaison with payroll  or any other information required in order to place candidates or service our clients effectively
  • Compose advertisements and place them in a timely manner on Turbo and other advertising platforms to maximize our exposure and quality of candidates
  • Take advertising response and invite candidates for interview
  • Onboard candidates via client’s CRM (sending out e-documents and chasing up candidates for any outstanding docs)
  • Conduct file searches on the database to select the most appropriate candidate in accordance with the job specification (temporary or permanent)
  • Place candidates into client rosters and job vacancies on the client’s database
  • Put together a short summary of the candidate after the interview
  • Control the pool of temporary staff to optimize service to the temporary and client
  • Update and maintain the database with all client and candidate comments
  • Plan and organize your own time and resources effectively to maximize end results

Minimum Requirements

  • At least 2-years solid experience in recruitment
  • Minimum 1-year experience in global/international recruitment, an advantage
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft applications such as Word, Outlook, Excel.
  • Background in dealing with Australian clients is an advantage
