Afterhours Consultant 

Clear is looking for an Afterhours Consultant to work with our client, an Australia-based company known in the labour hire industry, in a remote work setup.

Role and Opportunity

Your new role is responsible for providing an out of hours service to the Recruitment Consultants in the branch to ensure all job orders are filled-in a timely manner, with the most suitable support worker matched to the correct shift. You will also coordinate with the clients to update them with the status of the job orders. 

Purpose

As an Afterhours Consultant, you will:

  • Manage virtual reception for our client, handling inbound calls and emails

  • Address all associated admin tasks

  • Contribute to team efficiencies by accomplishing related tasks, as requested

  • Assist clients in their job requests

  • Coordinate with clients and Branch Consultants with regards to job orders, absences, tardiness, and replacement of candidates

  • Create placements, update client card and candidate card using client's existing system

  • Complete candidate confirmations for client rosters

  • Ensure database is always updated

  • Complete candidates' availability checks in preparation for consultants to do the roster

  • Complete tasks and email requirements in a timely manner

  • Screen resumes and booking interviews as required

  • Conduct Reference Checks for the candidates

  • Screen candidates to check suitability on the job orders

  • Run virtual reception for offices as required

  • Deal with candidate's pay queries

  • Liaise with Branch Consultants in a professional and timely manner

  • Contribute to team's effort and complete all other tasks as requested or when required

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the client and/ or management

As an Afterhours Consultant, your daily tasks may include:

Required Attributes

  • You are reliable with a mature disposition, delivering high-quality and professional services.

  • You are an excellent conversationalist in English (verbal and written).

  • You are technologically adept, highly trainable in new skills and software and can follow structured processes and templates.

  • You excel in multitasking, proactive in managing workload and meeting strict deadlines.

  • You perform your duties with minimal supervision and still produce outstanding results.

  • You have absolute respect for confidentiality and sensitivity of information, with the flexibility to perform other relevant tasks as required by the client or management.

  • Proficient with Microsoft 365, especially Outlook, Word and Excel

  • Experience in a BPO or similar work setting

  • Exposure to working on a rotating shift (dayshift, midshift, graveyard, early morning including holidays and weekends)

  • Background in managing calls, emails and systems simultaneously

  • Working with a team and manager both onshore and offshore
