Compliance Administrator

Clear is in search of a Compliance Administrator who will collaborate with our client, an Australian-based labor-hire agency. The agency recruits a diverse group of workers, including locals, backpackers, and seasonal laborers, to meet the requirements of their clients, who are mostly farmers or farmland owners/producers.

Role and Opportunity

Your new role is to offer support to our client with reporting to the government for the Seasonal Worker Program. You will be responsible for ensuring that our client’s reporting for this program is accurate and compliant with government regulations. This will require you to work closely with our client and the relevant government authorities to guarantee that all necessary reporting is completed on time and meets the required standards.

Purpose

As a Compliance Admin Person, you will:

  • Assist in ensuring that the client’s business operations adhere to the terms of their Deed Agreement with the Government to uphold compliance.
  • Reference the Deed Agreement and verifying that their reporting is in accordance with the requirements specified in the agreement.

Your daily tasks may include:

  • Complete Arrival and Departure reports for groups coming in and departing.
  • Update the Redeployment spreadsheet to make sure the reporting is correct.
  • Work with Managers on the ground regarding arrivals and departures.
  • Work with the Finance team to make sure they have a record of travel costs.
  • Assist with accommodation approvals.
  • Extract wage reports from MYOB and pivot these figures into a format appropriate for their government reports.
  • Analyze and reconcile pay and deduction reports.

Required Attributes

  • Absolute attention to details
  • Good conduct of English (written and spoken)
  • Ability to think outside the box and solve problems

Essential Experience

  • Proficient with MS Office application, particularly Outlook, Word, Teams
  • Competent Excel skills
  • Minimum 1 year work experience as a compliance officer
  • Minimum 1 year work experience in an admin role

Advantageous (Optional)

  • Someone who has experience working with a legal firm.
  • Experience in handling Australian accounts
  • Has a clear neutral accent
