IT Support Specialist


As a Part-Time IT Support Specialist:

  • Assist the IT Officer in managing the IT Requests via a ticketing system, ensuring that issues requiring immediate attention are addressed at the soonest possible time
  • Provide remote support to all staff requesting to resolve information technology (IT) -related issues, ensuring that staff are updated on issues with less priority by providing a concrete response on the target date that their respective concerns are scheduled to be handled
  • Assist and provide guidance on establishing remote access to client sites by working with external providers of our clients
  • Assist the IT Officer in collaboration with the Administrative Assistant regarding the deployment of equipment to new hires and/or coordinating with the suppliers/vendors
  • Ensure that all subscribed systems are running at par, at all times, and every system’s users are provided with immediate support when requested
  • Assist the IT Officer in collaboration with the Administrative Assistant regarding the pull-out or receipt of returned company properties, not limited to company equipment, from separated (resigned, dismissed, end of contract) employees
  • Provide immediate IT services to employees in the absence or on behalf of the IT Officer, as endorsed and authorized by the IT Officer or Management
  • Draft periodical IT-related tips/reminders in an “easy-to-understand and creative” format presentation for IT Officer’s approval
  • Perform any other IT-related tasks as required by the immediate superior or the management.

Required Attributes

  • Willing to work on Saturday and Sunday as a part-timer
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • With a ‘Can Do’ attitude, proactive in looking for “solutions” not “excuses”
  • A collaborative team player who eagerly contributes to team effort
  • Excellent customer service skills, credible and reliable with high regard for confidentiality
  • Fit to work status upon completion of the Pre-Employment Medical Exam (PEME) with a negative result of the drug test and a valid NBI Clearance

Essential Experience

  • At least 2 years of IT support experience
  • A degree in Information Technology
  • Experience in
    • Office365 Exchange admin center
    • Server knowledge/backend
  • Strong MSP/IT technical knowledge

Advantageous (Optional)

  • Knowledgeable on Azure AD and Intune
  • Experienced with Work-from-Home or Remote Work setup
  • Can start ASAP
  • Willing to work as an “on-call” IT Support during weekdays when needed
